Dustin Altmann, DMD

Meet Dr. Dustin Altmann, a member of the OM3 team since 2018. He is dedicated to providing expert and compassionate care in the full-scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Altmann understands that patients and families may be anxious about surgical treatment, and always strives to put them at ease with his gentle and reassuring presence. Dr. Altmann treats each patient as he would his own family, employing the most advanced surgical techniques and thoughtful interdisciplinary treatment planning. Additionally, he is certified to administer sedation and anesthesia to the highest standards of safety and comfort. His commitment to delivering the best possible outcome for each and every patient drives his ongoing pursuit of education, not only through additional Fellowship training but also through continual study of current literature and the latest in technology.

Dr. Altmann completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Phoenix Campus, in 2017. He then pursued further training as a Fellow at the Oral Facial Surgery Institute in St. Louis, where he focused on orthognathic jaw surgery, TMJ surgery, facial trauma and reconstructive surgery, surgical treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, facial cosmetic surgery, and complex dental implantology. Prior to his residency, Dr. Altmann graduated as the Valedictorian of his class from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Dental Medicine. During college, he received All-American athletic and academic accolades while ski-racing for Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. He grew up in Salt Lake City, exploring the mountains and deserts of Utah, and now enjoys exploring the outdoor wonders of the Pacific Northwest with his loving wife, two energetic little boys, and their dog.
